Recipe of the Week Ideas (Cooking)

What recipes would you like to have for the Recipe of the Week? I already have next week's in mind and a couple more ideas for later, but I'd like your input, too. Thanks

How about some recipes that are good for you. My husband is trying to lower his triglycerides and alot of the "healthy" recipes that I run across are really not very good when it comes to taste!

Cindy- thanks for this thread... I've tried many recipes over the years for a hot dish made from wild rice and venison. None have been really great. I'd like a great one.

Hi, Cindy. I love this idea!! Several ideas come to mind. Some of them are: Kids Favorites, Beans and More Beans, Yeast Breads, Quick Breads, Five Ingredient or Less Dishes, then maybe seasonal ideas like Bar-B-Q and Marinades, Fruit Salad, (pick one)vegetable of the week, Fresh or Cooked Veggie Salads. And thanks, I got some great recipes from the crock-pot thread, one of my favorite ways to cook. Gina NM

This is for Katie I looked up some wheat free recipe sites for you... yourhealthlinks.com wheatfree.com allergyfreedirect.co.uk/ I thought these sites could help till we get to having special recipes. Great healthy recipes would be great and the fruit or vegetable of the season would be great. Joanne

Wow there's lots of good ideas. Thanks everyone. It seems no one really likes the ham lamb and potato salad idea, the crock pots response was great. Next will be mushrooms, green onion, and asparagus. Won't be long in this area before morrels will be ready and I have recently discovered the joy of portobellas. YUM. There's so many different categories and I want to post them all at once, but of course, I can't.
