Don and Carla need our help!greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
They are doing a show about Heirloom Seeds and Heirloom Breeds of Farm Animals on March 14th.They really need folks to interview about Heirloom Seeds. A fellow they wanted to interview cannot make the show, and he didn't know of anyone to suggest.
If you are interested, please phone 520-845-2288.
It's really easy, they will phone you, and there's no need to be nervous.
If you wish to listen to their show, you will need real player, and go to http://www.donandcarla.net
Please, if you know of someone, or would like to be interviewed yourself, give them a call!
Also, their email address is doncarla@vtc.net
They have an invading bug/killer bee/fire ant person for that show as well.
If you wish to know more details about the show, please phone or email them. I don't have anything to do with the show itself. I'm just a listener who occasionally volunteers. :o)
Thanks for listening.

I'm on the east coast, so I'm going to work backwards from that. I think it's posted on the site too.Eastern: 7pm-8pm Story hour (Last time I listened, Carla was reading "Call of the Wild") 8pm-11pm The Don and Carla Show Central: 6pm-7pm Story hour 7pm-10pm The Don and Carla Show Mountain:5pm-6pm Story hour 6pm-9pm The Don and Carla Show Western: 4pm-5pm Story hour 5pm-8pm The Don and Carla Show
I think that's how it goes. I also think that they are in one of the few sections of the US that doesn't recognize "Daylight Savings", so I have a tendency to get confused a bit. I can vouch that the Eastern is absolutely correct, and since the show is live, and not delayed, I'm 80+% sure that all the other times are correct.
Hope this helps!
