On Zak Agresto's website "Trains of the Eastern Seaboard" under the timetables section of CSX and then the S-Line timetable, it refers to Raleigh Yard as Cedar Yard. I did quite alot of railraoding in the Raleigh area from 1973 until about 1990 or so and had never heard of any reference to a Cedar Yard. It was known as Raleigh Yard from SAL and thru SCL, Family LInes and SBD as far as I know. Was this an error in Zak's wonderful website or has Raleigh Yard been "renamed" since CSX? As great a website as ZAk has, I can't help but wonder if I have missed something. Raymond Smith

Hey Railfans!!

That website was the only place I've ever seen it called Cedar Yard. My CSX timetable from 1997 (the most recent one I can scrape up right now) has no mention of it being called Cedar Yard either. It does however officially call it Raleigh Yard. Also, the DTC block for the yard limits is the Raleigh Yard Limits. Hope this helps!! Lee Bright MP 140.78, CSX S-Line, Wake Forest, NC
