Intermittently the car will travel to the designated floor and come to a more positive stop than the usual stop-the P.I. will change to "G" (bottom landing)and the doors will not open and then the P.I. will change to the correct floor-the car will stay at the floor until it receives another demand

I CAN TELL YOU WHY it comes to a more positive stop every now and then it is the time delayed relays in the controller these are timed to open and close they are allen bradley the rubber diaphram inside wears and intermittent abrubt stops occur. check your mfs switch .for your pi sounds like a stepping problem

Thanks alot, you were right on the money. I replaced two of the timers with one being bad and another suspected bad.I also readjusted the brake voltage just a little and had to readjust the soft start. Long story made short-all is well again.
