Just wanted to congratulate Grady football players who made the 2001 All-City/South Metro Football Team and are listed in Today's City Life section of the AJC: Nicholas Oliver-Offensive Team, Ronnie Millen and Andrew Moore-Defensive Team. GO KNIGHTS!

Is it permissable for parents to send in legitimate information regarding a game. My son had to wonderful games that compared to other athletes featured, however i don't know if the coaches share my enthusiasm.

To Whom it May Concern:

Greetings from Maiya Hayes, AJC CityLife/N. Fulton sports reporter. Each Thursday we run your schools' Athletes of the Weeks on ajc.com. I would appreciate it if you would send me girls and boys nominations from your school no later than 2 p.m. Wednesday (each week). I apologize for this last-minute e-mail, but I was off work Monday and if you're unable to send nominees to me this week, just make sure you send them next week. Spread the word to your fellow coaches so that I get as many submissions as possible.

In order to submit nominations, please send me the athlete's name, sport and the reason why he or she is being nominated in about 15 words or less. In addtion, you have not already called and/or e-mailed me about your teams, I would appreciate it if you would. I have 25 schools and eight sports to cover this spring, so I will need your help in learning about your teams. Thanks
