Getting butter out of a butter mold

Does anyone have any idea how to get the butter out of a carved wooden butter mold once it hardens in there? It's stuck! Mary

It has been a while but what I remember was that I put it in the freezer. I have also lined the mold with plastic wrap before filling. Now I just use the muffin tins and pop those in the freezer and then pop them out. Throw them into baggies and freeze until needed. hope this helps a little! Robin

Soak your wood buuter mold in ice water before you pack it and it will come out quite well.
