The Express seems to have done a Journal/Ronnie thing by taking it's paper off the internet. All you get is a jpg image of today's front page!

"more to follow"
Let's hope that it's not Hendrie.

I believe The Mail is also not available on line, and I read recently that the FT is going to introduce access on a subscription-only basis.

I've never understood the adverse reaction on here towards Hendry - I think he's a smashing player, and I'd love to see him in b&w. Ugly bugger mind!

He's a whinging little sh!t who gets sent off far too often for stupid things. He'd fit in nicely at Middlesbrough or Man U.

At least he's a left sided player. I imagine by lunchtime this rumour will be discounted by a club insider.

He also has/had a baby seat in the back of his Porsche Carrera. All well and good doing that father bit but a baby seat in the back of his Porsche?

A couple of items from ntlbadsports.com

Lee Hendrie?

Well atleast he isn't French...Portuguese or Dutch.

Quite a refreshing player link today, 13 year old looking Lee Hendrie the £4 million rated Villa midfielder is reckoned to be on his way to join Newcastle join the summer with toon favorite Derek Hamilton lined up as his replacement at Villa. Ofcourse Newcastle would expect a couple of million if they are to part with 'Super Des,' but this is unlikely to deter Mr Gregory who is a long time admirer of the playmakers abilities. SC Frieburg, Ajax and Marseilles are all monitoring the Super Des situation.

Youngsters to play Ponteland

Tommy Craig has gone back to the younger players for Saturday's reserve game in the semi final of the Northumberland senior cup. Despite F & M in the vicinity of the Leisure centre ground the game will take place, K O at 2.30. Des Hamilton will be the only over 21 year old outfield player in the team . His likely inclusion in the team has sparked a flurry of activity in local hotels. Scouts from all over Europe will be invading Ponteland's ground to take a rare look at one of United's hottest properties.
