Lighting on a JVC GR-DVM70

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Shooting DV Films : One Thread

I HAVE A JVC GR-DVM70, AND I CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET LIGHTING WHEN SHOOTING AT NIGHT. EVERYTHING TURNS OUT DARK, AND I'VE READ THE MANUAL, AND I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANYTHING TO WORK. I ONLY USE IT FOR RECREATIONAL PURPOSES, BUT IT WOULD BE NICE TO BE ABLE TO SHOOT AT NIGHT. THANKS FOR ANY HELP, BROOKE

I have the same problem. Could you sent me the answer when you get it? Thanks. But somehow, I think that features doen't even exists and the only lighting it produces is the flashes.

try using the 4x or 10x shutter effect, it makes the shutter speed lower and the video is more choppy, but it brightens up night to look like day! its great. i use this effect when filming concerts.
