Is there any good critical analysis' for Poe's Hop-Frog online?

Marty,Regretfully, I have not found an analysis of this tale on-line but there is some mention of it in an essay by David Grantz on the Poe Decoder web site at http://www.poedecoder.com. As an alternative, I have sent you a summary via e-mail that I hope you find useful. Best of luck.

A late addendum. One little conjecture of my own is comparing the final gruesome scene to Dant(Dante climbs the furry hide of Satan to scale-actually tunnel-his way out of Hell). King=Devil, ministers the seven deadly sins? Whether the dwarf represents Poe's stunted life and the girl his soul(Psyche, Helen)is another conjecture. No one touches this much because of its brutal nature. There is more desperate spite against the world or "system" in here than most of his other writings.
