Hello! I know this isn't generally regarded as a homesteading topic, but my sister needs prayer right now. She is just over 5 months pregnant, and she started to bleed(bright red blood) yesterday. The Dr. told her to rest in bed. When she did ,the bleeding stopped. She is going in tomorrow for an ultrasound. Also, she is scared to death, worried about money(will probably have to quit her job or risk losing the baby),doesn't know the Lord,NEVER rests...I could go on! Please pray for her and this little one. Thank you so much.Though she is unmarried(living with her boyfriend/fiance),I am still praying to the intent that He would allow her to have this little one.Course,I'm also praying for much changes in her heart. His will be done, but Oh how she needs Him! Sorry to go on.Thank you all who are led to pray for her. God bless you all, Tracy~

Will definitely keep her in our prayers. Let us know what happens and if possible what her first name is. God does still work miracles and sometimes people have to hit bottom before they will turn to Him.

I am praying for your sister and her unborn child. Tell her to trust in the Lord, his will shall be done. Tell her not to worry and try not to be scared, but have faith and they'll make it just fine.

Tracy, We'll be praying for your sister and her child as well. Both for their health, and for turning their hearts to the Lord. Please let us know how they are doing.

Of course. She will be in our thoughts.

Thank you so much everyone!! Her name is Cindy, btw. She went to the Dr.'s yesterday for an ultrasound and the baby is doing fine. The placenta, however,is low-not covering the cervix but low enough to make for a dangerous delivery if it doesn't move any.He said if it doesn't move, she will have to have a caesarian. She has not been put on bed rest,in fact,he permitted her to continue working as long as she rests some and gets off her feet occasionally. There was no sign of what caused the bleeding-the placenta had not separated at all as far as he could tell...Thank you again for your prayers for her! Because of Calvary, ~Tracy~

My friend had the same thing - spent a week in the hospital- just to keep the girl lying down!!! She is OK and her baby was born in March with no problems. Your sister needs to rest as much as possible.

This really makes me angry that she is a mother at risk yet the USA gov't does nothing to give her the possibility (and RIGHT) to take care of herself and her baby!

America- it is a free country - yah right, as long as you are healthy or have money to pay the doctors !!

Your sister probably does know the Lord in her own way and anyways this isn't the moment to be a preachin' to her.

I hope you can be near to her and help her out in any way so that she can rest.

Check and see if there is a local WIC program or ANY funds available to allow her the possibility to get into bed where she should be - taking care of herself and her child

I'm glad your sister is doing better and I hope her delivery goes good for the baby and her. I feel talking to her about the Lord is a good subject anytime it can be encouraging. I feel if I have the Lord on my side what could go wrong. Hang in there. God Bless you both.
