pillow lava

I was wondering how long it takes Pillow Lava, which is from underwater eruptions, to cool and solidify under water from the time it erupts.

It depends on the thickness of the lava flow. The thicker the lava flow, the longer it takes. For example, a meter thick lava flow will take a few weeks to solidify. A ten meter thick lava flow will take a few years to solidify.
