Anybody tried making tufa? It is supposed to be light weight concrete to make pots and planters etc. A friend was telling me about it,but didn't have much information. I checked a few websites. Looks like it might have some homebusiness possibillities or a least some uses around the old homestead. Anyone have any experience making it? Daryll

Daryll, I have never heard of the stuff at all. Can you post one or two of the sites that you found on it? I have an old friend that left a potters wheel here, it's slightly out of balance, but it might be fun to try to use it for some thing. Thanks!

I read about it somewhere. A mix of cement and peat, it sounded really cool and I wanted to try it but I couldn't find the link or page or whatever or wherever it was.I would sure like to know where to find it again.
