I received this email today:

Hi Duane, One of our most famous evangelist Ed Bousman, is having surgery at the University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio this Friday. He is now 83 and will be having cancer surgery on jaw bone. I believe our brotherhood need to know this. If there was ever a time to show appreciation to him and his wife Naomi it is now. Naomi reports: "...it seems to be in the 'earliest' stage, however that will not be totally determined until at time of surgery. Please keep him in your prayers for his 4-hour surgery scheduled for May 4th at 12:30 P M at University Hospital in Cincinnati. There are several options that the Dr. can take depending upon the extent of the cancer, however, the plan is to remove a segment of part of the jaw bone, reinforce with a steel plate, and skin graft from his chest. We thank you once again for your many cards, e-mail and most of all your prayers. May God bless each one of you." I minister to his step son, Eric Vail and family.
