We have had highland cattle for a little over a month now. We have a 4 yr.old cow and calf and a 2 yr. old bred heifer. The cattle have never been treated with anything and I would like to deworm them with a natural dewormer. I wonder if Shaklee Basic H used as Joel Salatin recommends (added to their drinking water) would be strong enough to cause contractions in the bred heifer and thereby possibly induce labor? Otherwise, I think they would benefit from being dewormed. Any suggestions? Thanks for any advice you have. I really appreciate all the help the forum has provided with other questions -- we are such novices!
