Help! a big chunk of ear is missing off my rabbit, why is it doing this?

Is it normal for a rabbit to jump and pee for self deffence?

Is it a male rabbit? They spray sometimes, it's a guy thing, not really in self defence but in showing off! Don't know about the ear, is another buck next to it in the cage or something? They could be fighting.

The ear could have been from anything. Sharp edge, neighbor's dog, raccoon, can't tell unless more information. Did it happen during the day, at night, did you find the missing piece?

Yes, rabbits are stinkers and will pee at you to keep you away. I think it is friendlier then them growling and scratching or biting.
