Yard work and WARNING!!!--[Christian Material]

Boy! This old fat man it TARD! Picked up the yard of debris from the wind storm--gett'n ready to mow again. Limbs and other stuff had scattered over the yard. Had lots of nails from used rafters I'd burnt, layin all over the ground where i'd stacked'm. Got tired of mowin around'm so--torched'm about a month ago. Borrowed a powerful Magnet, with a handle, from ole jeep and picked'm up this morning also. Ended up with a 2 gallon bucked just almost full. These will be a good source of iron for my trees! Job'm in the ground close to the trees or drop'm in a hole when sett'n out new ones. Makes a BIG difference as the trees need iron to grow quickly.

Was down on my knees pick'n up nails and put my big old paw down and then saw the snake skin! As Wendy Bagwell said in the rattlesnake song, "I liked to died"! Of course twarn't nuthin inside that snake hide or I'd a been dead now!

Not too much exciting news from here except I'm still alive for a spell but am ready to go when He calls.

Don't overdo in this beautiful weather-there is always another day-maybe. If not then ya'll won't hafta worry bout what you didn't do before He called you. "Well done thou good and faithful servant. Thou hast been faithful over a few things, I'll make thee ruler over many things. Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord"!---OR--- "Depart from Me you worker of iniquity, into everlasting punishment. I never knew you"! Which will you hear upon your face to face encounter with Jesus Christ? Matt.24:44

Well, I hope I'll hear the first one, Hoot! Sounds like you had a busy day! This time of year is always a challenge, trying to balance the inside work with the outside work, dodging the weather, etc. We have had some wild windstorms here in Colorado, siding blowing off the house, plants freezing, etc. Now it's time to settle down and get things done! Hope you take it easy, and have a great summer! Jan
