Swing sets? Tough cookies to crumble. [Christian Material]

Wow! The distructions tell us each step to take in the process of assembling the swing set Lil Dumplin bought for our little grandkids. Mustuve been writ for a rocket builder er something other than an old hillbilly from Illinois. After assembling and diss-assembling a couple times I finally got those leg brackets on properly with the legs leaning OUT instead of IN! Two little swings, a glider and a little slide. Forget the monkey bars--they ain't monkeys anyhow!! Not even decendants of monkeys! Well anyhow, it takes a real brillant person to do it and do it right the first 5 times it's put together.

I was jest a wonderin why they always [well almost always] have a Pondersoa Steak house close to a big wallyworld? REkon Wallyworld folks give or get a kickback from toter business? Saw lots of little old blue haired ladies and little old bald headed men in Ponderosa. Rather funny to just set and watch those same little old blue haired ladies boss those little old bald headed men around. They follow'm around like little ole puppydogs too! They weren't say'n much in opposition to there little old ladies either.

Today was supposed to be my day of rest but decided to go ahead and work until I either get tired or night comes along. Believe the "tired" thing will win out long before the "night thing" makes it's appearance.

Fix'n to recline fer a spell and try "just rest'n my eyes--I am NOT asleep Lil Dumplin"---snore! Wished I had my little Jesse James dog. He was a rat terrier that died couple years ago or so from a natural gas pipeline leak. Sure do miss'm. "The more I see of some people the better I like m'dog"!

Everybody enjoy this beautiful Lords day. Shortly I'll be able to walk and talk with Him in person all the time. He's coming soon--Look up-your redemption draweth nigh. Matt.24:44

My grandma had one of those swingsets, but my favorite was the board seat hung on ropes from the old oak tree. I really missed it when I came one summer and found the branch it hung on was rotted. Our own children have a put-together set made of thrown out parts found here and there. Keep looking up!
