Where do you have them growing at? grapes need full sun. also you can try working in 2 to 4 inches of aged manure around your trunk since its only the second year and they need alot of nourishment during the 1st - 3rd years of growing. You can also tried spraying the trunk/canes with liquid seaweed every 2 weeks during the growing season.

We mulch our grape vines good with "rabbit fertilizer" and a couple of times a year I use Miracle Gro on them. I haven't done anything to our older two fines this year and it appears they are going to be LOADED with grapes. Also, in the dry heat of summer, make sure you water them! What you do one year will also help in determining what they will produce the next year!
