Ilford Archival Black & White Inks (for Inkjets)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Printing & Finishing : One Thread

At the risk of setting the digital cat amongst the traditionalist pigeons it crossed my mind that the following link might be of interest to some (or many).

http://www.ilford.com/html/us_english/latestnews/latestnews1.html

Basically, Ilford has come out with B&W printer inks for inkjets that they are happy to put their name behind.

Hi Mani, the way I read their specification table, these inks are for Ilford printers only. Then they say "With ink kits available for the most popular wide format inkjet printers,.." Surely the most popular wide format inkjet printers are Epson printers, at least in the US. However, I see no reference to them. Did I miss something? Also, I think their longevity claims are on par with what Epson is saying now.

Well, it is good to see that the competition is getting bigger and beginning to respond to photographers' and especially b&w photographers' needs.
