Eversheds- court hearing III - NOT!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Repossession : One Thread

Hi Eleanor. I'm sorry I did not make the situation clear in my recent message. Here follows a few points to note:- i) took out joint mortgage with ex-wife in Dec 1989 for £37.000. ii) house repossessed in august 1992 (fell into arrears due to very high interest rates. iii) Property was sold on 3rd August 1994. For £16.500. iv)Received FIRST correspondense since repossession from Evesheds acting for Nationwide Building Society in June 1999 concerning mortgage shortfall claim for £45,743.41 plus interest. Hope this helps. Regards, Gary

Response to Eversheds- court hearing III

So it's a shortfall claim, rather than an actual court hearing?

Presumably though you have labelled your threads 'Eversheds court hearing' because this is what you have been led to expect?

So, how many times have Eversheds threatened you with legal action in writing? On whose behalf? I am trying to collate these details on behalf of a large number of people. I'd appreciate your input, if possible.
