Do questions count if they're not answered?

Wow, Tricia! I know you are referring to keeping the Forum active - but your question can be thought of in a completely different context.

What a profound question! I'm impressed. This reminds me of the old conversation where one person asks the other 'if a tree falls in the woods but nobody is there to hear it does it really make a sound' kinda thing.

I'll have to go off now and contemplate your question. My initial guess is that unanswered questions count, since if we don't ask, it is less likely we will find.

Actually, Rob, I did catch the Zen effect, but thought I'd leave it to the reader to decide.

And then there's the fact that questions almost certainly can't count, not having the necessary fingers and toes....
