Cort of Appeals

Can any of the panel remember a couple of months ago I appealed when a cup tie we were winning at the time 2-1 was abandoned by the ref due to the actions of certain followers of the opposing team. The League Exc came down in our favour awarding us the tie, the rivals secretary as is his right appealed to the higher echelons of the SFA, they came out in our favour last week, great, last night long after the season should be over we played in the quarter final of that long delayed Cup tie, losing 5-3. Problem being was under rule 43d one of their players was an "Illegal" , has played for another team this season, well the appeal letters are away again by registered post, if we are successful we will be into the semi-final. We could create a record at this rate, winning a cup on appeals, why do I then feel like some of the contestants in the Survivor series?

Get stuck in there buff. You could end up winning this season's cup AFTER winning next season's ;-))

Do you think you could get Newcastle into the Champions League.

I did wonder what had happened Buff, thanks for keeping us up-to- date. Just out of curiosity does this mean you having to trail down to Hampden Park to argue your case?

Not in this case Stevo, all the aspect of football administration in Scotland has now moved to Hampden, even the amateurs from Park Gdns
