Hi, my name is Phyllis and I was introduced to the forum through Polly. I live in the country with my husband Michael and our two children, Justin 12, and Maranda 10. We have pigs, cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, and a cockatiel. I have a garden, although it's not doing real well this year. I don't know if I'm doing this right so bare with me. I'm also new to BTS and find it a very enjoyable forum. People are interesting, friendly and helpful. What part of the country are you from? I'm originally from VA but now live in New England. My two children are grown with children of their own. Husband, Russ and I only have 3/4 of an acre but we try to make the most of what we have. We just finished putting in the garden and everything seems to be doing well. I also have a dozen hens which provide enough eggs for us as well as some to use for barter.
