I HAVE A CHANCE TO BID ON A TELE-hEXAR ;FOCAL LENGTH 40CM.iIwould like to know if this would be too long for my RB Graflex series D where the distance from the film plane to the centre of a lens at maxium extension is roughly 30cm

Answers

The 15" Tele-Raptar (38 cm) will focus at infinity on my 4x5 Super D but closest distance is only about 15 feet. Your 40 cm is gonna be close.
