Have home for young Border Collie

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I noticed in browsing that some old messages were concerning finding homes for working Border Collies. I have a home in New Hampshire for a young, sound, active Border Collie or mostly Border Collie. My dogs work sheep in the summer and run on a sled team in the winter. They all live in the house with me (or I live in the kennel, I'm not sure which). I would like to add one more dog to my team and am not too concerned about bad habits or flaky dogs. I don't have children or cats but the dog must be able to be around strangers and other dogs. Perfect home for the over-active dog who isn't making it as a family pet. Ragtimedog@Yahoo.com

I am always helping place Borders in homes that need them, and I'll remember you, but I am in Kentucky. If I come across one, you would have to get a ride for the dog. Nice to know you love your Borders! I have 7. I love my dogs too, they are the best. The pups that were available are all gone. Do you care about the papers or not?

A friend of mine has 6 month old black and white Borders, out of registered parents, free without papers. He has 4 I think. I saw them yesterday and they are very healthy. He will not let the papers go with them if they are free (with papers is 100). He is not online, so email me or respond here, and I will email you his phone #. He is 1 hour south of Louisville, and does not ship, so you would need to get a ride for these boys. He has good working dogs, and my male is out of some of the same lines.
