greenspun.com : LUSENET : Brownies Buy and Sell : One Thread

Hello,

We are looking for a Westinghouse 300 Watt, 120 Volt Projector Bulb that is needed to put a Kodak Brownie #188, 8 mm projector back into use again. Does anyone know of a source for this bulb?

Thanks,

Ned

Brownie projector bulb

For anyone who is looking for a Brownie projector bulb...USHIO, Inc. Tokyo, Japan makes a bulb that is 120V, 300W with the model number "CMV". Light Bulbs Etc. can order it for you.

I bought one there for $21.00 and it works just fine in my Model 1.

I would suggest looking in the Radio Shack catalog. They have an extensive list of bulbs for old projectors available by special order.

Hi, Ned, here's what Chuck's section on hard to find bulbs says: "For your projector bulbs try National Photolamp Supply at 1-800-882-8834 in Virginia, US. I don't have a web address for them."

Good luck!
