Does anyone know where he is buried?

Also, I heard that every year on either the anniversary of his death, or his birthday, not sure which, that someone...every year...puts a half a bottle of brandy, and flowers on his grave...is this a true fact?

Please get back to me with details...I think all of his work is truly remarkable, and anything that anyone could tell me about my questions would be greatly appreciated!

Following his death on October 7, 1849, Poe was buried on October 9, 1849 in the Westminster Burying Grounds in Baltimore, Maryland. The "Poe Toaster" visits each anniversary of his birth, January 19th.

Actually, there is a minor controversy about whether Poe was buried on October 9th or 8th. October 8th is usually accepted.

He was buried in his home town of Richmond Virginia.

Yes it is true someone does puts three roeses at his grave every aniversery of his birthday! He was burried at the Westminster Church.
