We are in the process of restoring our yard to the time when our house was new (1923). We are looking for looped welded wire fencing for the vegetable garden. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks Virginia

Virginia, do you mean "welded wire", "woven wire" or something exotic? Welded wire and woven wire (stock fencing) are readily available at farm supply stores. The stock fencing holds up better.

I think I've seen what you're talking about in some of the yards around here -- the top edge is formed of loops? I'm pretty sure that the ones I've seen are still the originals. I don't know of a source, but The Old House Journal might be able to help you. Old House Journal I see they have bulletin boards too -- you might want to check those out.
