Sister just got back from the Dr. He was telling her about an anecdotal incident with a Crohns patient. (Sister has Crohns)

He was telling her about a coconut candy that is only available at Christmas time that one of his patients accidentally cured her Crohns with.

Apparantly, she was not the only one. The dr. told my sister that the company had so many people claim to have cured their Crohns with it that, they issued a disclaimer saying they make no such claims.

What coconut candy is available only at Christmas time? What is its name and who makes it.

Maybe off on a goose chase, but sister wants to pursue it. Can't blame her. She has surely suffered for years and scared of her prednisone.

Archway Coconut Macaroons are available year round and according to the People's Pharmacy, they have the same anecdotal success stories attaced to them - so much so that the company has been inundated with e-mails on the subject. It was suggested that a couple of cookies a day will help alleviate the symptoms. Couldn't hurt to try them, and they are in stores all over the place.

Perhaps just eating coconut? I'm guessing fresh would be better than dried.
