Actually this was no doubt planned from the very beginning by Chung. However I believe this was also one possible reason why some people didn't like the show. One of my friends said:" It's always about those two (Aeon and Trevor) and rarely others". Other series have several recurring characters. The Simpsons is an example but I guess it would be absurd comparing these two series. I guess it's a bold step only to have two. That never bothered me.
