Since I live only 40 miles away and most of my wife's relatives are all in Canada,and we vist several times a mth. I thought I would take this oppurtunity to wish those from Canada that are on this forum a - - - Happy Canada Day on July 1, 2001. Canada is now 134 years old.

Too bad they're not free. Too many stifling laws (can't own a gun, must register bullets), etc... Otherwise, they're a great neighbor and a beautiful country.

Thanks for thinking of us, Tom. Having grown up in a "border town" area (Sault Ste. Marie, ON - Sault Ste. Marie, MI) I must say that you guys ALWAYS have the better fireworks! Of course, being able to view both displays has always been a great consolation prize. A very early "Happy 4th of July" to all of you.

Happy birthday Canada! Didn't know there was a Canada Day and that it was on July 1st. Learn something new everyday. And, don't the old Gal look good at 134! It's a beautiful Country.
