Hey, I read it early this morning. Somebody posted about the possibility of War in the middle east, and then posted an anti-war poem (basically talking about "thou shalt not kill" unless we tell you to because killin' in war's a GOOD thing and God's on OUR side sort of thing). Someone suggested reading a story by Mark Twain the exact title of which I've forgotten, might've been "war cry"???

Can't say why it got deleted but I don't see it anymore either. I'm pretty anti-religious myself but didn't have a problem with that posting. But, maybe nerves are still raw. It's their forum so I'm not griping.

No you weren't. It hasn't been deleted, it just got shoved down where I couldn't see it when I went looking for it earlier. And the correct title of the Mark Twain story is "War Prayer" and it has been printed in its entirety on that thread.

I'm glad to see it wasn't deleted after all. Next time I'll look HARDER. Lots of times I lose threads when they are too low on the list, I should have known to look farther than I did before I assumed it had been deleted (well, somebody else thought it had been deleted too so at least I'm not alone LOL!). I didn't THINK they would have deleted that.

They stuck it back in the archives where it belongs. Boy that was pretty mild compared to some of the other more vicious stuff! Why did she use that thread? Thanks guys......Kirk
