Window AC

It won't be long before the AC is needed, so if you use window units, now is the time to get them ready. If they must be put back into the window, be sure they are securely mounted and sloping slightly to the outside to accommodate condensate drainage. Clean the filter and make sure all the cracks around the unit are closed up. If the unit has been stored in the garage (bad practice), open it up to check for critter nests before you put it into service.
