Update on Thornless Blackberries

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I have been knee deep in green beans, trying to get the hay baled before rain, & filling the new wood shed for the outside furnace since I got all the replys. I checked for grubs & didn't find anything. I am thinking Dianne must be right about the blight. We had a wet Spring. Do I just cut the dying briars off? All the wild berries seem to be ok. I'll still have cobblers & jam this Winter.Kaye in W.Central Il.

It has descriptions of several disease along with ways to control them. Good luck!
