I sent an email from the hotmail account last night to Kim and David with the password but I've noticed that they haven't posted to the forum. Do either of you know if they got the password yesterday?

Also, I'm sending the password to Jay Blair. He sent me a request last night but I didn't get around to responding.

Um, I think that Patty Gamble, Renee O'neil, and Dianne Bone would be safe to let in. Do you both agree or disagree?

Oh, did either of you send the password to John Leake? I thought I saw an email from him on the hotmail account last night but I didn't see it today...

Answers

I sent it to John this morning....nativent@...that one.

Great. I sent the password to Jay Blair, too.

And you're right, Cindy. There are a bunch of lookie-loos out there that just want to camp out on our forum and lurk. It's kinda creepy actually...

I honestly don't know about Patty and Renee. Patty seems to be kinda "just get on with it" sometimes, wants anyone to post anything they like and who cares, just don't click on it.

I just don't know well enough, why don't we ask Sharon that one? She knows real well, much better than me. Joy knows Diane I think, don't ya Joy?

What about Sharon's friend Jennifer? Did she get one?

As far as people knowing about Walden Two... I guess I don't care either way. We can withold the password for here until (and if) we're ready to give it out. Or we can use this forum for our own needs.

I do have an idea for maybe creating a virtual "motion detector" that I want to try out on this forum when I have the chance. If it works I could see who passes through our forum. That way I'd know if folks are getting into BTS (even if they lurk and never post) that shouldn't be getting in.

Jennifer didn't get one. She kinda disappeared on us a couple of weeks ago. I did get a hold of Sharon last night and sent her the password.

As for Renee and Patty, I'll defer to you both on whether they should get in. I think you guys may know them better than I do.

I just went over to CS and checked and things seem to be quiet, no one else is asking for the password on that thread. I am dissapointed at Dave for not deleting that stuff about Sharon on the other thread. Ken answered me and said he would talk to Dave about it. Oh well, Sharon got her funny answer in!

My son Levi knows of a program that lets you know WHO is on your site at that time. I'll ask him about it. Not sure exactly how it works.

I think everything is under control except my email, so I'm gonna get off and call MSN now.

I'm glad things quieted down over on CS. I'm gonna get off the computer for a while. I'll be back on at around 2pm CDT.

Thanks for all your help, guys.

I have to get back off very soon, as my friend is going to call and our dogs can have their "blind date". Okay, that's just me being goofy. They're both fixed, but her dog is something of a grump with other new dogs, and since we humans are best friends, we want our dogs to get along too!

Now about all these folks:

I think all the ones that have emailed Jim and asked deserve SOME sort of response -- eventually. I recognize ALL but am not sure about Kenneth Bush. It seems familiar, but I don't remember him posting on BTS -- probably on CS. I'm willing to let them sit a little while, since we're all busy right now. But in a day or so, we should get back to them.

Renee should be allowed in. She is "one of us" philosophically. I see she posted that she is very busy and takes a break by visiting the forums. I am sending her the password, with a gentle reminder that being part of a forum means participating, even if it's just something like "you guys crack me up!". Hopefully, she'll be able to contribute more in the slower winter months.

Patty didn't really ASK to be given a password, just made comments on it being a mistake to pass word. Do you want me to email her and find out if she WANTS to participate and if she will keep the password a secret?

Dianne (in Mass.) BOne/Trevilians seems to have proven herself to be okay.

Did Debra in KS get the password? She's not posted much recently, but she's getting ready for her wedding, so that ought to be good excuse.

I could comment on all the other requests individually, and will do so later, but for now I gotta go.

Joy

I changed some setting as per MSN, got emails, and sent off second test email at 2:00 pm. Hope it works now.

Ok, Joy, you seem to know a bit more about those ones. Maybe wait to see if Patty wants one. I noticed she didn't ask either.

I didn't see Debra on the list over there, or in BTS this morning.

Got my test email back at 2:25. And yours about Yahoo, Jim. See ya after while.

I just sent debra the password. I haven't heard from her in a while so I think Joy may be right that she's busy with wedding stuff.

I Agree.

I'm fine with you giving the password to Renee and Dianne (in Mass.), Joy.

I sent out passwords to Tren (trendlespin@msn.com), Sherry (chickadee259@yahoo.com), and Anne (HealthyTouch101@wildmail.com)

I hope I'm not sending to people you guys may have already contacted but I wanted to make sure that these folks got the password.

I'll also be sending one to JOJ as he got a hold of me through the hotmail account.

www.humanclick.com has a free program for seeing who is on your site. www.Bravenet.com does too, if you register it's free. Just a couple for you to check out.

-- Anonymous, July 14, 2001

Thanks Cindy.

I'll check out whatBravenet has to offer when I have time as I'm already a member with them for our Photo Album and the Chat Room.

I'll be offline now until later this evening (9pm CDT maybe).

Also I created a new thread on who has been contacted so far that I know about. You guys can add to it from the people you've contacted, too.
