What is the best lawn mower for a small tractor a belly mount or rear attached? We have about 2 acres of lawn plus a large garden. What about those front mount mowing machines?

It depends on your needs. If you have wide open spaces a pull or rear type mower will do just fine. If your area is heavily landscaped, with a lot of contour, a belly mounted mower is the better of the two. A better machine would be a zero turn mower if there are numerous twist and turns due to trees etc. Try to find a machine with a hydrostat vs. chain/cone drive system. Less tinkering and costly repairs.
