I've been using powdered milk lately to make yogurt and can't seem to ever get it to dissolve completely!! I've tried using boiling water, warm water, cool water--shaking, stirring...and still there are little powdery blobs in the yogurt!! Yuck!! Any suggestions??

Have you tried whirling it up in a blender?

During my "bachin'" days I always used powdered milk to avoid spoilage and what I did was to shake it up with cool water then blend it with a pat of real butter. Seemed like the butter helped keep the consistancy smoother and helped the "powder" taste.
