9spd cassettes with largest chainrings

hello guys..would like to ask a question here..

do riders some how use or can the largest 9spd. cassette be used with the largest chainrings?..seems the b/derail. in a very high tension..

Answers

Generally, using the extreme gear combinations are a bad idea to begin with because of the extreme chain line.

But so long as your chain is long enough, it shouldn't stress out the rear derailleur.

Not advisable....the crossover shortens the lifespan of your drivetrain.

I don't think it is advisable...I have seen someone did this at the Penang Open last year and it resulted in his RD arm bent due to the cause that the arm went into the spokes...is it called the arm? (I meant the RD part where the lowest [pulley is?)
