It seems old Bodo hasn't been offered a deal at any other club like he thought. I read a snippetlet this morning that suggested he had a straight choice. Fester at a club where he is not wanted (Barça have bought every Brazilian in Sao Paolo) or join us. The 2 sentences hinted that they thought he would be loco to stay in Barça. Basically he's not that popular. A chance to reduce the size of the offer?

I'm starting to think that even if we buy him, we're on a hiding to nothing. If he plays well, then he'll do a Hamann and jump for a better team. If he's crap, we get another Marcelino.
