Jane's Bible

I remember seeing Jane's actual bible on display at one of the museums but can't remember which one. It could have been the Bristish Library but have been on their website and can't locate it. Also, as they have moved premises they may have placed the book in another museum. Does anyone know where it is?

If you haven't seen it - it is amazing. It was cased in glass and was open at one of the pages Jane had written on just before her execution.

It was incredible to think that this was actually her bible - the one she clung on to just before she died.

Any info on it would be useful. Thanks. Jeni

Jeni- I have never heard of Jane's bible but if you do find it please let me know I would also love to see it. I have been interested in and studying Jane's life for almost 11 years but only recently got connected to the internet so I am delighted to have a new resource to continue my studies on her. Thanks- April

I believe the book you are all refering to is the Book of Common Prayer, that is, as far as I know ,still on display at the British Museum. This is the book that Jane had with her at her execution.
