Mid-day Outdoor Concert

I am hoping to get some advice on shooting an outdoor concert at mid-day. Since the time of day is a disadvantage, 12:30-2pm, would it be best to use ISO 100 film instead of the 400 due to the strength of light we'll experience at noon? (Color film.) Though I'm sure the ISO 400 would handle the fast action of the band. At this point, I don't know the direction of the sun vs. the stage. I would think using fill flash wouldn't work in this case since I'll be (most likely) a distance away from the band. Any tips?

Thank you for your help!
