Hi Grant, I'm super busy now, but I know alot about Cornish and layers.

We're planning on guineas and quail next year, seems this will be a good place to ask questions. Thanks and god Bless.

Hi Grant! I like to consider myself an experienced novice. We've been raising chickens for a few years and are now also raising turkeys, guineas and ducks. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from this site, and contributing whenever possible. Thanks for starting it!

Greetings, I'm in northern California. We have 10 chickens now --all rescues. We have several mystery little red hens, a mystery tiny red hen, a sex-link, and an aracauna. We also have a black silky rooster and an aracauna rooster. I am expecting 25 new assorted chicks next week from McMurray's --colored egg layers. I've had good luck with mine so far, but haven't had to deal with any emergencies. I'm probably an old beginner but definitely not a pro. I think they are theraputic and I just love them.
