Just a note:

While attending the Lay Biennial Convention in Jacksonville, I visited the exhibit booth of the A.M.E. Sunday School Union. Upon doing so I prepaid an order for the 2000-2004 Doctrine and Discipline. I was assured it would be mailed by July 27. On yesterday, July 24, I received my copy by UPS.

Halleluja for the cross! What a good news, for some of us were holding our breaths by the thought of going into an annual conference with the new book of discipline and to rely on one or two persons for guidance. Can some of the brothers and sisters make avail to us the address so that we could also place our orders. God bless!

As an aside, I would like to commend the individuals at the A.M.E.C. Publishing House who are responsible for taking and filling orders for all of their publications. When I have ordered any publication,it was handled and delivered in record time. They do an outstanding job and are most courteous when one calls for information. At the Biennial, we were promised delivery of the Discipline within a particular time span and they kept their promise. Kudos!
