Bravenet

Once you get to Bravenet's web site, log in with the following:

Username: beyondthesidewalks

Password: APL217B

After logging in, choose the "Maintain your Photo Center" link.

This will take you to the admin center for the photo album. If you're logging in to approve recently uploaded photos, look along the left side of the screen near the bottom where it says:

Private Albums
User uploads

Click on the "User uploads" link and this will bring up a page showing the current uploaded image files (if no one has uploaded anything this page will be empty).

If there are images shown, you'll have the option to view, move, or delete the images. I simply choose "move" and then tell the program which album I want to move the image to.

(more instructions later - the instructions listed so far will at least allow you to approve and move member's images to designated albums)

OK, I saved this to my notebook. Should we just check in there daily to see if any photos are there and need approval?

You can check the hotmail account daily if you want, Cindy. Or, you or I can go into Bravenet and change the email address that notifications are sent to (I've currently got it sent to send notifications to beyondthesidewalks_moderator@hotmail.com. The notifications could be sent to one of your solidrockranch accounts if you wanted. That way you wouldn't have to deal with the BTS hotmail account. Sound good to you?

Nah, it's no biggie to check the hotmail account. You can just leave it. I'm gonna upload a pic and try.

Allright, I put a craft picture of ours there. I had to EDIT, and take off the IP address. Figured that out, its easy. It wasn't at hotmail yet, so I went to bravenet, logged in and the pic was there. Thanks Jim. We want you to have a nice rest.

Great! Fantastic! I meant to tell you about the IP address thing but forgot about it. I delete the IP addresses too, becuase I didn't want that much information available to the general public (especially any potential troublemakers). BTW, I'm really glad you understand the setup of the Photo Album, Cindy. But I kinda thought you might figure it out... :-)

I successfully did some photos from Cindy today. Guess I know how to do them now.
