B&W Y/G MC filter for indoor black and white portraits

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Camera Equipment : One Thread

I have been asked to shoot black and white portraits of partners of a firm for a company brochure. I just bought a B&W yellow/green MC filter to enhance foliage in my scenics, and was told this filter also has 'favorable effects' on skin tones. The portraits will be indoors and I don't know what kind of light I'll have, but I assume most of it will be artificial and I will add light as needed with speedlights. Is the filter a good idea, or should I save it for outdoor use?
