Night crawlers prefer cooler temps than redworms. A stormpit or soda cooler where you can maintain 60 to 65 degrees would enhance production. They are very sedidary and do not compost as well as redworms, which prefer warmer environments. Varlie Morgans' book Earthworm Raising for Profit details outdoor pits rather well.
