Is it normal to here a clicking 2 years following hip replacement sugery? Is this a sign of loosening or need for another surgery. So far my mom's doctors have dismissed it as significant.

There is no way to tell if it is significant or not apart from a comprehensive evaluation. If it is not causing symptoms and she has been evaluated then it is likely that it is insignificant.
