Home leg against Troyes stays on the 21stgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
UEFA (the miserable bastids) wouldn't approve the match being moved to the following night. So an early test for our lads' fitness. On the upside icDeadPeople mention all the players coming back from niggles and those who've yet to play with the first team during preseason and it's looking good. The likes of Harper, Griffin, O'Brien, etc. If everyone is fit at the same time, we could just about play 2 entirely different teams against Chewsee and Troyes without a major loss of quality. Course the pessimists will use that as proof we are still weak, but I like to think we are beginning to look balanced and ever so slightly stronger. Or something. :-)

When we meet Troyes at home the 21st we will have a 5-0 lead so the reserves can play them.
