A suicide bombing rocked a central Jerusalem pizza restaurant just moments ago, killing at least 18 people and wounding nearly 100. SIx children are among the dead.

The explosion took place in the packed Sbarro pizza restaurant at the corner of King George and Jaffa Streets during the lunch hour.

The restaurant was completely demolished in the terror attack. Television broadcasts are showing dozens of wounded people in the streets outside the restaurant.

Massive security and emergency medical services are now on the scene treating the wounded.

The Jerusalem Post's Etgar Lefkovits reports 18 dead and at least 92 wounded. Five people are in ciritical condition, nine in serious condition and seven in moderate condition.

Authorities are reportedly still pulling victims out of the rubble of the busy pizza parlor.

Police sappers have found an additional unexploded bomb at the entrance to the restaurant.

Additional explosions were reported after the initial blast.

Jerusalem police have been aware of bomb warnings in Jerusalem over the past several days.

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's "kitchen cabinet" is being called in for an emergency meeting in the wake of this terror bombing.
