What do you use as a wormer for you Grt.Pyr.dogs ?

Donna, first I'd determine what species of worm(s)your dog has. A stool sample under a microscope will help, examination by eye of the stool and if you are in a Heart Worm location, a blood sample at the Vets. Then, from there you will know what to worm for. Then you will need an accurate weight for your dog. As this is a large breed you can, of course, weigh it at the Vets or most feed/grain dealers or grain warehouses have flat scales that you can weigh your dog on.

I love that Beagles Unlimited site! I ordered the 1000 cc bottle of Safeguard for my dogs, and I worm for 3 straight days. Same as Panacure. It's even safe to worm the pregnant dog, in fact she recommends it. I have the liquid Albon and Flagyl too. It's a great site for saving money and still getting good meds for your dogs. You can't find that liquid Safeguard hardly anywhere except there.
